This outdoor/indoor turf option is grain neutral and rolls as true as possible using the putting green turf material. We wanted to offer the very best solution for use outdoors and indoors in high-traffic situations that need a more durable alternative to our standard indoor putting greens. Both of the turf offerings have a total cross section/depth of half an inch. The difference is in the construction of the grass fibrils and the backing. Both of the constructions result in the same total cross section and same overall speed (10-11). 

Country Club Turf: Longer turf pile/ thinner backing

• Available in two foot wide + three foot wide (six foot is unavailable)

Tour Quality Turf: Shorter turf pile/ thicker backing

• Available in two foot wide + three foot wide + six foot wide + seven and a half foot wide

This outdoor green is great for the durability and ability to use it outside, but the roll is not as good as our world-class and revolutionary indoor greens!*

• Half an inch deep high quality, true-rolling turf putting surface. *Please note, the six-foot and seven-and-a-half-foot wide option is NOT available in the Country Club Turf. Choose Tour Quality Turf for the six-foot and seven-and-a-half-foot wide options*
• Standard drop-in cups and extraction flags (Four or Two)
• Four cups + extraction flags: three-foot width & six-foot width will have three holes on one end + one hole on the opposite end
• Two cups + extraction flags: two-foot width will have one hole on one end + one hole on the opposite end
• One High-Back Cup to practice extra-firm putts
• U-bumpers (six heavy rubber bumpers to create a "U" shape on each end of the putting green)
• Hole Plugs will be included, so the holes can be plugged at any time to take a hole out of play. Also includes
• Hole Deepening Shim to deepen the hole to a full inch deep, or use it to create a break anywhere on the putting surface
• Hole Reduction Insert to reduce the size of the hole for an added challenge

All BirdieBall Putting Greens are measured in nominal inches. In order to get the green packed in a box for shipping, along with the hand-crafted nature of our greens, the measurements can vary slightly.

Assembly is quick and easy!

• Roll out turf and remove hole plugs.
• Install cups from the bottom of the mat, and click extraction flags into place (lining up the four circles on the flag base to the four circles on the cup).
• Clip bumpers to the ends and sides of the mat to create a U-Shape at the end of your mat.
• That's it! Start putting and don't forget to utilize the multi-purpose shim and hole reducer to switch it up!

*Heat Warning Disclaimer* 

The artificial grass melting point is 180 degrees. Reflective surfaces, like windows and steel cookware, can create a temperature that artificial grass cannot withstand. If you have windows that are at risk of reflecting onto the putting green, it is advised to cover the green when not in use or roll the green up when not in use to prevent the turf from melting due to the extreme reflective heat. Be aware that melting prevention is the buyer's responsibility.
